I was recently invited to Harvey Nichols in London to experience the Frank Body x Daniel Hersheson Summer Body Pop-Up; and it was absolutely delightful! I had previously heard of Frank Body, but never got round to trying out the product, so it was great that I was being treated to an extra special treatment with it.
The treatment was on the 4th floor I think, where the Daniel Hersheson salon is located. I was taken into a private room with a beauty therapist which had a lovely atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing treatment. I was asked to undress and to pop on some paper pants and jump in the shower that was provided. A shower cap was on hand too so my hair didn’t get wet. I completely forgot that this was a messy treatment that you had to wash off in the shower, so do take some spare makeup with you as it’s very difficult to not splash your face!
Once I was all showered I laid on the massage table and the Frank Body scrub began. I absolutely loved it! I’ve used lots of exfoliating products in the past and none of them have felt as though they are working. You can feel the scrub grains on your skin and you know it’s doing what it says on the packet.
Once the scrub was on, I hopped back into the shower and made sure it was all washed off. Then I towel dried myself and hopped back on the bed for the last part of the treatment, the body balm or oil. I opted for the balm as I didn’t want my skin to feel oily afterwards, as I was putting my clothes back on to head back out into London.
Once the balm had been applied with a little massage thrown in, I got up to feel my skin. OH MY GOD, I said to myself. WOW, I never knew my skin could ever feel that soft. It was amazing! And the best thing about this treatment is that you can do it in the comfort of your own home.
There are 2 different types of Frank Body coffee scrub available; original and coconut. I opted for Original for my in store treatment but I have also tried the coconut one at home, and it smells divine. It does the same thing but it’s for girls with sensitive skin. The beauty therapist also said it’s great if you have acne as it’s anti-bacterial.
I’ve been using the scrub for about 2 weeks now, along with the balm and I am definitely going to continue using this product into the future. If you haven’t tried it, you must!
