When it comes to festival outfit ideas, I think I might just be your girl. I’m constantly on the search for cool clothing to wear at festivals; I even made a blog post featuring my favourite brands to shop from. I love wearing outrageous outfits, something that stands out and matches my glitter makeup and hair. In this blog post, I bring you FIVE amazingly fab, festival outfit ideas.
When it comes to planning my outfits, there’s a few things I look for: colour, fabric and garment. You all know I love the colour blue, so that plays a key part in my outfit planning. As does the fabric! I adore holographic, metallic, faux fur and anything else that’s a little bit unique. And finally the garments themselves, I tend to opt for bodysuits, kimonos and coords when styling my festival looks.
I reached out to lots of festival clothing brands a few weeks ago to showcase their products to you all. I adore working with these small fashion brands as I love to give them a little bit of limelight; it’s so hard to be seen on social media these days. All of these brands offer AMAZING, UNREAL garments for the festival season, and to be honest all year round. I’m planning on creating A LOT of festival content this year, as I know it’s one reason you all follow me. And also, it’s my FAVOURITE time of year, as I absolutely love the freedom you get with makeup and clothing. You can go wild at a festival, anything goes! These outfits have really got me excited for my first ever Coachella trip, coming soon! It’s been a dream of mine to attend that festival and I’m going in behalf of Claire’s – how mad! Not only are these outfits perfect going wild at Coachella, they would make amazing looks at lots of other festivals this summer, like Boomtown and Secret Garden Party. If you haven’t got your tickets yet to either of those festivals then get on it so you can start your festival outfit planning, it’s honestly so much fun! I’ve got quite a few festivals that I’m attending this year, so be sure to keep an eye out for more festival outfit ideas.
When it came to shooting these outfits, I knew I had to pair the looks with glitter makeup. If you didn’t know I’ve just launched a collaboration collection with The Gypsy Shrine and I’ve used my Unicorn Face Gem and Glitters to create the festival makeup for this shoot. Eeeek! I can’t wait for you all to create looks with my products! If you wanna see more click here. These outfits weren’t just photographed though, my boyfriend filmed each look and I put together a lookbook for you all on my YouTube channel. I hope you enjoy it!
